ALAN WHITTAKER, a.k.a."THE WIZARDMARRA" has for the past few years been developing a new kind of storytelling.
Drawing from the rich vein of traditional material and the wide array of contemporary culture in all its forms. He has woven these elements in a breathtaking and hilarious mix of storytelling and stand up comedy.
Music, Literature, Film and Television all inform and colour his work.
Above all his performances are non-stop whirlwind shows that will leave you breathless and talking about them for days.
No "storytellers chair" for Alan (in fact if he had one he'd probably just climb on it, crawl underneath it or possibly even wear it!) While tale telling he has been known to dive into rivers, throw himself from a building in a single bound and sit on a cowpat!
He sings, dances and continuously spins tales that take you on a roller coaster of laughter and spellbound awe.
